Can anybody really claim to have the best cookware? I know I think mine is pretty great, but would I call it the best? I think it’s the best for me. I love cooking and spend a lot of time in my kitchen. My cookware may not look beautiful and shiny all the time, that’s because it gets a lot of use. What I like about my cookware is that even though it doesn’t look great, it’s durable, heavy-duty, cooks evenly and does a great job every time I use it. I have big steel pots that were passed down from my grandmother. These work the best for large quantities of soup or chili. They are old and don’t look so great but they will last forever and they do exactly what I want them to do. I can simmer anything for hours in these pots without any worry about food sticking or hotspots. My cast-iron pieces are wonderful too because they’re so well seasoned that nothing sticks in them, plus they can go from stovetop to oven without any problem. The best cookware is the cookware I use everyday.
